8 straipsnis Biologinės kilmės žaliavos plastikinėse pakuotėse 1. Ne vėliau kaip 2028 m. vasario 12 d. Komisija, atsižvelgdama į Europos Parlamento ir Tarybos direktyvos (ES) 2018/2001 (63) 29 straipsnyje nustatytus tvarumo kriterijus, peržiūri biologinės kilmės plastikinių pakuočių technologinę raidą ir aplinkosauginį veiksmingumą. 2. Kai tikslinga, remdamasi 1 dalyje nurodyta peržiūra, Komisija pateikia pasiūlymą dėl teisėkūros procedūra priimamo akto, kuriuo: a) nustatomi biologinės kilmės žaliavų plastikinėse pakuotėse tvarumo reikalavimai; b) nustatomi biologinės kilmės žaliavų plastikinėse pakuotėse naudojimo didinimo tikslai; c) numatoma galimybė šio reglamento 7 straipsnio 1 ir 2 dalyse nustatytus tikslus pasiekti naudojant biologinės kilmės plastiko žaliavas, o ne iš vartotojų plastiko atliekų gautas perdirbtas medžiagas, tuo atveju, jei nėra tinkamų su maistu besiliečiančių pakuočių, atitinkančių Reglamente (ES) 2022/1616 nustatytus reikalavimus, perdirbimo technologijų; d) kai tikslinga, iš dalies pakeičiama 3 straipsnio 1 dalies 53 punkte pateikta biologinės kilmės plastiko apibrėžtis.

Grace O'Sullivan — Article 8 – paragraph 1
This article should only apply to coffee and tea bags including soft pad single-serve units, but not to rigid single-serve units. Rigid biodegradable plastic is not accepted by most composting facilities, as it cannot compost fast enough. Compostablity requirements only make sense for very lightweight plastic carrier bags as primary packaging for fruit. It is important that these three types of products are home comp
Hildegard Bentele, Norbert Lins, Peter Liese, Christine Schneider — Article 8 – paragraph 1
"Compostable" plastic cannot be distinguished from conventional plastic and is therefore often sorted out as interfering material. This is very costly and hinders the recycling process of this waste stream. In addition, the quality of the compost would be severely impaired.
César Luena, Javi López — Article 8 – paragraph 1
The obligation for coffee system single-serve unit should only apply to those made of plastic, as aluminium is an easily recyclable material.
